CISO Roundtable, 15 May
Security in the Public Sector
Public sector organisations, like many private enterprises, are facing increasing security threats, from protecting citizen’s data and compliance to a fast-changing threat landscape. However, Public Sector organisations also face unique additional challenges and developing a clear strategy to ensure a more resilient, proactive approach to cyber security can be difficult.
In this topical roundtable, facilitated by Computacenter’s CISO Phil Lea, along with security experts from ServiceNow, TeamUltra and Tenable, we will look at these unique Public Sector security challenges, and discuss how they can be addressed. Topics for discussion include:
• Security strategy and roadmap – Automation, people, insource vs outsource
• Understanding your control requirements – Securing citizen’s data in the cloud without impacting the user experience
• Cost reduction through consolidation – Reducing vendor sprawl, duplicated capability
• Automation, orchestration – Address skills shortage, cost reduction
• Dealing with change
