People: our greatest asset

I was absolutely delighted, but not a bit surprised, when news reached me that one of our Solution Architects had received fantastic praise from senior management within ServiceNow.

After all, TeamUltra is the most experienced and respected ServiceNow partner in EMEA.  Our CSAT score of 9.4 cannot be bettered in EMEA by any partner.*

What made this news stand out for me was that the Senior Solution Architect in question, Simon Westwood, has been recognised as the most certified and accredited consultant in the EMEA region (possibly the world, but we are awaiting verification on this!).

I’ll just repeat that.  Simon is the most certified and accredited consultant for the Now Platform in the whole of the EMEA region – across all ServiceNow partners and consultants.

On a personal level, and in my role heading up sales at TeamUltra, I am of course absolutely stoked for Simon and for what it means to our company.  But of course, the true value – and why the accreditations are particularly important – is because they are awarded by ServiceNow and are a measure of expertise that helps customers and prospects feel confident that a consultant knows the Now Platform inside out and will enable them to achieve the business outcomes they require.

This expertise is the lifeblood of our industry and these accreditations also help great consultants, like Simon, stand out from the rest.

Simon’s achievement is tremendous validation of the hard work that he has put in over the last five years since joining TeamUltra – hard work that I have witnessed first-hand. At the recent SITS 2018 event in Olympia we had numerous customers visit our stand to thank Simon and pick his brains on matters big and small. New prospects also benefitted from his expertise and he was called numerous times to the ServiceNow stand for demonstrations and chats with delegates.

This level of accreditation also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to a strategic partnership with ServiceNow. The better our consultants know the Now Platform the more productive this partnership is and, as part of Computacenter and recognised as their ServiceNow division, this can only get stronger.

It’s an amazing achievement and something to celebrate, but anyone that has worked with Simon will know that he will be very modest about this – and that this will not be the end of his learning and gathering of expertise.
